FIFA Womens World Rankings- The second edition of the UEFA Women’s Futsal Championship, also known as the UEFA Women’s Futsal Euro 2022, was held in 2022. The UEFA Women’s Futsal Championship is a biennial international futsal competition for European women’s national teams.
The qualifying rounds were originally scheduled for 2020, with the final tournament of this edition taking place in February. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, UEFA announced on June 17, 2020, that the final tournament FIFA Womens World Rankings
would be moved to March 2022, and the qualifying rounds would be moved .The tournament was then rescheduled for July 2022 at the same location that had been chosen before, Gondomar, Portugal. Spain were the defending champions,
and they were successful in defending their title, defeating Portugal for the second time, 3–3 (1–4 in A total of 24 of the 55 UEFA member national teams entered the qualifying stage, with Gibraltar and Bosnia and Herzegovina making their debuts. FIFA Womens World Rankings
Based on their coefficient ranking, which was calculated based on the results of the 2019 edition, the 13 teams with the highest coefficient ranking advanced to the main round, while the 11 teams with the lowest coefficient ranking advanced to the preliminary round. FIFA Womens World Rankings
The coefficient ranking was also used for seeding in the draws for the preliminary round and main round, where each Four teams were chosen ahead of time as hosts for the main round and three teams were chosen ahead of time as hosts for the preliminary round.
On February 13, at 13:30 CEST (UTC+2), the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, hosted the draws for both the preliminary round and the main round.[6] The procedure for each round was as follows FIFA Womens World Rankings
The eleven teams were divided into three groups in the preliminary round: two gatherings of four containing one group from every one of the cultivating positions 1-4, and one gathering of three containing one group from every one of the cultivating positions 1-3.
To begin, the three teams that had been pre-selected to serve as hosts were selected from a separate pot and assigned to their respective groups according to their seeding positions. The remaining eight teams were then selected from their respective pots based on their seeding positions
(the lowest-ranked teams were assigned to seeding position 4, followed by seeding position 3).

To begin, the four teams that had been pre-selected to serve as hosts were selected from a separate pot and assigned to their respective groups based on their seeding positions. The remaining 12 teams, which included the three winners of the preliminary round, FIFA Womens World Rankings
whose identities were unknown at the time of the draw, were assigned to seeding position 4, were then selected from their respective pots. In view of the choices taken by the UEFA Crisis Board, Spain and Gibraltar couldn’t be attracted a similar gathering. FIFA Womens World Rankings

Schedule for Women’s 2022
Each group competes at the pre-selected hosts in a round-robin mini-tournament in both the preliminary and main rounds.
In the last competition, the four qualified groups play in knockout configuration (semi-finals, third spot match, and last), either at a host chose by UEFA from one of the groups, or at an impartial scene.
- Tiebreakers Teams are ranked in the preliminary and main rounds based on points (three points for a win, one point for a draw,
- and zero points for a loss) and if they are tied on points, the following tiebreaking criteria are used to determine the rankings:[8] Points in head-to-head matches between tied teams;
- difference in goals scored in games between teams tied;
- goals scored in matches between teams that are tied;
- All of the preceding head-to-head criteria are reapplied solely to the subset of teams that remain tied after applying all of the preceding criteria to more than two teams;
- difference in goals scored in all group games;
- all of the goals scored in group games;
- Penalty shootout if only two teams have the same number of points,
- met in the group’s final round,
- and tied after applying all of the aforementioned criteria
- (not used if more than two teams
- have the same number of points or if their rankings are irrelevant to the next stage’s qualification);
- disciplinary points (three points for a red card,
- one point for a yellow card,
- and three points for an expulsion for two yellow cards in a match);
- Ranking of UEFA coefficients;
- Using a lotto.
FIFA Womens World Rankings
Each group’s schedule for the preliminary round and main round was as follows: four-team groups had one rest day between matchdays 2 and 3, while three-team groups had no rest days (Regulations Articles 18.04, 18.05, and 18.06):
The winners of each group go on to join the 13 teams that get byes. The preliminary round was originally scheduled to take place between May 5 and May 10 in 2022, but it was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic, initially to a later date between June and September.
On June 17, 2022, UEFA announced that the matches had been rescheduled to take place between May 4 and May 9, Times are CEST (UTC+2), as provided by UEFA (local times, if any
Each group’s winners advance to the final tournament. The principal round was initially booked to be played somewhere in the range of 1 and 6 September 2020. UEFA announced on June 17, that the matches had been rescheduled to take place between October 19 and 24, 2022.
